In 1961, Mr. Charles W. Strickland moved to Americus, GA, to practice accounting. By 1970, he had established Strickland Accounting, which quickly became a well-known and respected firm in the area. Mr. Strickland set an exceptionally high standard for service and built strong relationships with every client who walked through the doors of Strickland Accounting. His dedication and expertise fostered trust and confidence among all those he served, creating a legacy of excellence.
When asked about the firm’s success, Mr. Strickland always credited the amazing clients and friends who entrusted him and his firm over the past 58 years. On July 31, 2024, Mr. Strickland retired from Strickland Accounting, passing the reins to Mrs. Jenny Frantz, who has been a dedicated member of the firm for over 20 years. Her values and ethics align perfectly with Mr. Strickland’s, ensuring a seamless transition.
In his heartfelt retirement letter, Mr. Strickland wrote, “Over the last 54 years, I have journeyed with each of you through difficult and challenging times as well as moments of joy and celebration. You are not only my clients but my friends, for which I am immensely grateful.” This sentiment captures the essence of who Mr. Strickland is and how deeply he will be missed at Strickland Accounting.
Thank you, Mr. Strickland, for everything you have done to build such a successful accounting firm. Your dedication to serving the community and establishing a trusted name is truly commendable. As you once said, “If you love what you do, then you never work a day in your life.” I can confidently say that you have made a significant impact on this community with your service and skills.
We all wish you a joyful and fulfilling retirement. Enjoy this well-deserved time, knowing that your “home” is in great hands. We will continue to uphold the high standards and bring joy and satisfaction to the community whenever they hear the name “Strickland Accounting.”
